KDDI America (www.kddia.com)
has selected Juniper Networks Carrier Ethernet
solution for entry into the U.S. market. The EX Series Ethernet
Switches and MX Series Ethernet
Services Routers provide superior scale, density and
flexibility, enabling KDDI America to rapidly deliver high-quality services
while reducing total cost of ownership (TCO).
KDDI is a widely recognized
global leader in the development and provisioning of Ethernet services,
most notably in Japan — where its award-winning service possesses the
largest market share* — and throughout the wider Asia-Pacific
region, with service to the United States via points of presence in New
York and Los Angeles. The outstanding performance of their services, with
realized availability of over 99.999 percent, prompted a large number of
U.S. corporations already using KDDI's Ethernet connectivity
internationally to request service of similar quality in North America.
With the comprehensive Juniper solution, KDDI America is now able to
seamlessly fulfill those needs.
