TELEHOUSE Continues Facility Expansions, Offering High-Density Power to West Coast Customers

For almost two decades, TELEHOUSE America has continually sought to provide the highest-quality data center environments offered in the U.S. today.  Regular advancement of each facility has been part of our long term strategy and contributes to our recognition as a world-class data center provider that ensures its clients’ power-protection and full–redundancy, 24/7.

TELEHOUSE continues this trend by announcing several facility upgrades to its Los Angeles data center. Moving it towards true Tier-3 status, the Los Angeles Center will increase its power capacity by 100 percent, within an N+1 redundant UPS and cooling configuration throughout.  As a result of the expansion, the data center will now be able to accommodate higher-density power requirements at up to 3.5 kVa per cabinet. The expansion is expected to be completed by July 2009.

The carrier-neutral facility, located on 626 Wilshire, offers clients the choice of connecting to several carriers/ISPs, as well as access to the LAIIX peering exchange, a gateway to companies operating within the Asia-Pacific rim.  Customers can also connect their equipment hosted at the LA Center to One Wilshire, a meeting point for global carriers, by way of our redundant and diverse dark-fiber. For more information on available colocation space in the LA Center, please contact us by dialing (718) 355-2525 or emailing us at
