As a response to all of the interesting and insightful questions we created an educational webinar series which describes peering, its benefits, and how to get the most out being a member on a peering exchange. On Thursday, July 21nd, TELEHOUSE hosted the second webinar in its Peering Series. Building upon the first peering webinar held in April, Peering 102 provided deeper insight into the complex world of Peering. Differing from the first, simplified webinar, TELEHOUSE presented this innovative topic by focusing on the key technical aspects. Featured speaker, Fred Cannone, Director of Sales, discussed with attendees how to connect to Peering Exchanges, maximize and share traffic, along with equipment, software and routing services for their considerations. So what exactly is peering? Peering is simply the settlement free exchange of Internet traffic between two entities.
