TELEHOUSE Debuts 2 Events
TELEHOUSE will debut two new event series in the second half of '06. Both will complement the highly successful BREAKFAST ON BROADWAY seminars started in '04 and the BOOT CAMP@TELEHOUSE Center workshops begun in '05.
The NY-based series will focus on networking to help facilitate business among clients, partners, NYIIX members, all carriers and ISPs, IT service providers and web hosting companies. The launch will be in August.
The Los Angeles-based series will be workshop-oriented, have its own identity and debut on October 18. Wilshire Connection and Dream Tank will be our key L.A. contacts. The topic addresses why IP-TV is becoming a force on the audio/video and data convergence scene, and what kind of impact it will have on content providers, telecoms, media, entertainment and financial companies.

FILM REVIEW WAVES ...Penned on location in Miami, resident movie critic Tara 'Two Thumbs' DeVito saw Miami Vice. (When in Miami, what else..?) "It was terrible to say the least!!" pens DeVito. Horrendous acting, NO chemistry between Farrell & Foxx, a script lacking a storyline and weak, if any, links to the original series has this flick drowning in the waters off South Beach!! "The only good part was how GORGEOUS they made Miami look!" Save your $10 bucks on this one - not worth it at all....."Now if you're into dark, crime filled, suspenseful films," 'Two Thumbs' states, "I've got one for you: Running Scared." It's a recent DVD release ('Two Thumbs' on NetFlix, "a great movie rental company - highly recommended"). The most notable cast member is actor/writer, Chazz Palminteri (A Bronx Tale, Usual Suspects). "The acting by all was phenomenal.... The story quickly comes together and comes full circle, as all the characters get involved in one another's life by the film's end. Expect to be glued to the screen. According to 'Two Thumbs', "You will feel the suspense throughout, until the twisted ending (that's the best part!)." Parental discretion highly advised..worth the bucks.
