FILM REVIEW WAVES ...Penned on location in Miami, resident movie critic Tara "Two Thumbs" DeVito saw Miami Vice. (When in Miami, what else..?) "It was terrible to say the least!!" pens DeVito. Horrendous acting, NO chemistry between Farrell & Foxx, a script lacking a storyline and weak, if any, links to the original TV series has this flick drowning in the waters off South Beach!! ...The street word is Farrell & Foxx filmed most of it separately. "The only good part was how GORGEOUS they made Miami look!" Save your $10 bucks on this one - not worth it at all....."Now if you're into dark, crime filled, suspenseful films," 'Two Thumbs' states, "I've got one for you: Running Scared." It's a recent DVD release (Two Thumbs used NetFlix, "a great movie rental company - highly recommended"). The most notable cast member is actor/writer, Chazz Palminteri (A Bronx Tale, Usual Suspects). "The acting by all was phenomenal.... The story quickly comes together and comes full circle, as all the characters get involved in one another's life by the film's end. Expect to be glued to the screen.
