Co-host June BREAKFAST ON BROADWAY Seminar

TELEHOUSE America's highly successful BREAKFAST ON BROADWAY seminar series continues to present issues that matter as it wrapped its sixth session on June 15. Attendees gathered at the BROADWAY Center in New York City's downtown financial and technology district at 25 Broadway. Vanessa Evans of the London Internet Exchange Ltd. - LINX - gave an in-depth presentation on remote peering in the UK and Europe. Evans had this to say about co-hosting the seminar - "We found this to be a very beneficial and well run event. Its intimate nature meant that people did not feel inhibited about interacting and that certainly made it a very informative session."

Andrew Goldsmith of Global Internetworking, Inc. followed with a thorough, well-crafted presentation on bandwidth - its trends in usage and routing, controlling costs and administering and managing the back office end. WW Upcoming BREAKFAST ON BROADWAY Seminars
As you plan your summer calendar, please keep in mind our upcoming BREAKFAST ON BROADWAY dates. July's seminar will be held on the 27th. The topic will be the trends in content delivery and in what direction they are heading. Limelight Networks will take up the co-hosting duties. Then on August 25th, co-host Cogent will give a talk on the low-end and middle markets business segments deals with carriers, ISPs and bandwith needs.

TELEHOUSE launched the free, monthly, morning seminar series to create a forum that addresses topical industry issues in an informal, non-sales pitch environment. The co-hosts bring business expertise that is relevant to each month's topic. Their presentations serve as a catalyst that precipitates out-of-the-box thinking, and an enlightened discussion of issues and new approaches between speakers and attendees, presenting a genuine value-add for all.

I got to see Capacity magazine's Caitlin Gallup and Turin Network's Doug Corbett while they were in town for Capacity USA 2005. Folks, keep you eye on this event as it continues to grow in popularity. As for those McVite's biscuits from the London contingent…..

It was nice meeting Hunter's dad at the TelX soiree at Cipriani's on Wall Street. It was truly a site to see Hunter get up and knock out a few backup vocals with the band. Keep rockin' bro.

FoodWaves - a must to try is Paul & Jimmy's on East 18th. Say hello to Louis, the owner, a good buddy of my colleague and food maven, Peter Messina, who turned me on to the establishment. The food...very good and the ambience...very nice...a keeper.

SportsWaves - to the guys at Patrina...Lou and Pat, love those golf balls from the SIA exhibit.

CongratsWaves - to TH Partners Global Internetworking for their success with Airbus NA.
