Satoru Manabe – Chief Executive Officer
Satoru Manabe has an extensive background in executive management and company operations. He first joined KDDI Corporation in 1984 upon graduation with a Bachelors Degree in Laws from Kyoto University in Japan. After receiving a Masters of Business Administration in Marketing from City University Business School in London, Mr. Manabe engaged in China business development and established three subsidiary companies in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. From 2005 to 2007, he served as President of KDDI China, and started Telehouse China in Beijing, and eventually, Telehouse China in Shanghai. From 2007 to 2010, he oversaw a KDDI and China Telecom joint venture company before heading the global account management team for Toyota Motor Corporation and its group companies from 2010-
Satoshi Adachi was appointed Vice President of Telehouse America in October 2011. His role includes Corporate Planning, Finance, Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, and Sales Planning & Support. Before joining the Company, Mr. Adachi was in charge of sales support for Global Network Services in the Global Business Department, at Telehouse parent company, KDDI Corp. At KDDI, he was responsible for sales enhancement of their global network services like lease line, IP-VPN and Ethernet. In addition, he also served as an assistant manager at KDDI Singapore. His current commitment at Telehouse America is to provide the services which will fulfill our customers needs, satisfaction and piece of mind. Mr. Adachi graduated from the University of Tokyo with a BA in Economics in 2000.
Akio Sugeno – Vice President – Internet Engineering, Operations and Business Development
Akio Sugeno has been with Telehouse America since 1989. He is also the founder of the New York International Internet Exchange (NYIIX)-Metro NY’s largest, most active Internet exchange-and the Los Angeles International Internet Exchange (LAIIX)–a key peering exchange for connecting US-based companies to the Pacific Rim.In his current role, Mr. Sugeno is charged with five major responsibilities: network engineering, managing the Company’s exchange points, software/database engineering, operations and overall business development. Before joining Telehouse, he served as a software engineer at DNP Lab. Mr. Sugeno is actively involved with various network engineering organizations, and frequently speaks at both the (RIPE) and North American Network Operators’ Group (NANOG) conferences. He earned a BS in telecommunications from Waseda University in Japan.
David Kinney – Director of Facility Planning and Operations
Dave Kinney, Director of Facility Engineering and Planning Dave directs all activities, staff, and budget for the facility department at Telehouse America. Overseeing a staff of 20, David develops and manages facility infrastructure specific to new construction, renovation, and acting as the central point of contact. David holds high standards for ethics and excellence, and has a background that spans over 15 years working in Senior positions for T-Mobile and Sprint.
Mr. Cannone is an information and telecommunications industry veteran with more than 25 years experience in executive management, technical sales and marketing for data center and hosting providers, international voice, IP and data carriers, as well as global trade intelligence.
After serving as Director of Sales & Marketing from 2009, Frederick was appointed the Director of Channel Sales for TELEHOUSE America in 2014. In this role, Mr. Cannone is responsible for developing and managing the indirect sales channel to address business needs for a wide variety of vertical markets including Internet and content delivery service providers, telecommunication carriers, financial and media companies and large enterprise clients. Mr. Cannone joined TELEHOUSE America in 2004 as a Sales Manager where he focused on managing new and existing client relationships for disaster recovery, colocation, managed services, peering and Internet services.
Prior to joining TELEHOUSE, Mr. Cannone served as Telecom Sales Consultant for MCI Telecommunications where he was responsible for analysis and sales of voice, data, and Internet communication needs of new corporate clients.
Mr. Cannone graduated from St. Francis College in New York with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Milad Abdelmessih has been with TELEHOUSE in the human resources department since 2009. He started with the company as an HR generalist and quickly moved up the ranks to his current position as Director of Human Resources and Corporate Planning, overseeing a number of departments including Legal, Real Estate, Security, and Sales Support. During his time as HR manager, Milad was instrumental helping launch our newest U.S. facility, TELEHOUSE Chelsea, located at 85 10th Ave in Manhattan. He studied at CUNY College of Staten Island, where he acquired a Bachelor of Science Degree with three majors: Accounting, Finance, and Economics.
