TELEHOUSE Offers Route Server Access to NYIIX and LAIIX Customers at no Charge

TELEHOUSE is pleased to announce it will be waiving MRC fees to peering customers that wish to utilize our newly installed, route servers at both our New York International Internet Exchange (NYIIX) and Los Angeles International Internet Exchange (LAIIX) points.

Using the, widely recognized, open-source Quagga suite of routing software, customers can expect to experience a highly advanced peering experience that offers the benefit of multiple, simultaneous network routes. In addition, the route server will allow customers to track packets traveling either exchange and determine how long it takes for it to arrive at its destination, at any given time through an IP address query. TELEHOUSE is one of few peering providers in the United States to offer route server access to its peering exchange.

Currently, TELEHOUSE’s route servers are accessible to customers interconnected to NYIIX at 25 Broadway, 60 Hudson and 111 Eighth Ave, in Manhattan, NY; and 7 Teleport Dr. in Staten Island, NY. LAIIX customers connected from 626 Wilshire and One Wilshire will also have access to this service, free of charge. Customers who are interested in enhancing their peering experience by adding this feature should contact our sales department at 718-355-2525 or by email at
sales@telehouse.com.
