A Company of Firsts

It was 1989, the year the first text message was sent, the year the first commercial ISPs began operations and gas was 93 cents. The same year, Telehouse built the Teleport in New York, the first purpose-built data center in the US, which is our US Headquarters today. This structure was built to our exact specifications and is a powerhouse for our New York customers. Construction followed with a second, Telehouse North in London’s Docklands in 1990, and we continued to expand across Europe and Asia.

But we didn’t stop there.
